SPRING SPORT PHYSICALS
Spring sport physicals will be held in the Middle School nurses office on Wednesday, February 20th.  Please see the large yellow signs posted in the lobby outside of the cafeteria for specific sport times.  The fee is $20.00.  Students should see the nurse to obtain the blue physical form which must be signed by a parent before the exam can be completed.  If a student participated in a fall or winter sport, he or she must complete a green recertification form.  ALL student athletes must have a completed blue physical form OR a green recertification form on file with the nurse prior to the start of the season in order to participate.

SENIOR SKIP DAY - DON'T DO IT
Parents please be aware that there is not an official "Senior Skip Day". Any student that skips school will not be able to make up missed school work and will not be permitted to attend the basketball playoff game.

DAYTIME OPEN HOUSE CLARIFICATION
I wanted to clarify that you are welcome to come anytime during the daytime open house. If you have younger children or some other morning commitment you are welcome to come to the school whenever you are available.  Likewise if you can be there first thing in the morning, but have something later in the day that is fine too.  Come when you can and for as long as you would like.

DRUG TESTING KITS AVAILABLE
The Murrysville Po;ice Department is pleased to announce the program, LEAD, Law Enforcement Against Drugs Program. The program provides inexpensive drug and alcohol test kits.  These kits offer an outlet for parents to test their kids in the privacy of their own home without the embarrassment of having to buy them at a local pharmacy or hospital.  The cost of the kits is either $3.00 for alcohol tests or $4.00 for drug test kits.  The cost for peace of mind is priceless.

Kits can be purchased at the MPD or from Officer Buzz at Franklin Regional High School or Middle School.  The person purchasing doesnt need to give his/her name so anonymity is kept intact.  If you have any questions, please contact Officer Buzz at 724-327-2111 or 724-327-5456, ext. 5049 for more details.
