before the musical! Bye Bye Birdie will be featuring our now famous
Streetscape again this year. Franklin not only has the incredible
set on stage, but also one in the hallway. Step in to the school and
back in time to a 1957 stroll down Main Street of Sweet Apple, Ohio.
Grab a hot dog, some popcorn, cheese pizza, Friday only, a Chick- Fil-A
sandwich, beverages and candy and wander down the street to watch a
hulahoop contest under the apple tree or have your picture taken in the
old fashion photo booth. The old "5 and 10 Store" will be open to
purchase small toys. Mugs, T-shirts and aprons will also be sold. You
have an opportunity to buy a candygram with a message on it for your
special actor and flowers are also for sale. Visit our bake goods
area for wonderful down home desserts. All of this will be available
before and after the show and during intermission. Plan to dine in
Sweet Apple, Ohio while at the show..

COLLEGE FAIR
Pittsburgh National College Fair
David Lawrence Convention Center Thursday, Feb. 28: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29: 9:00 a.m. - noon A brochure containing more information, including a list of attending colleges, is available in the Counseling Center.
This a great opportunity for
sophomores as well as juniors. There are over 100 schools in
attendance.. I have one suggestion sent in by a parent to pass
along - Make up a sheet of return address labels with your
child's name and address. It makes filing out the information
cards at the various booths go so much faster and it assures the
schools get the name and address correct without having to
interpret your child's handwriting.
