HELP NEEDED WITH COSTUMES
Calling all sewers....A mother/daughter team has graciously agreed to head the costume committee for the Thespians' Spring production, Pride and Prejudice, but they need lots of helpers. If you are willing to help out, please contact Mrs. Babal (jbabal@franklinregional.k12.pa.us). Speaking as a previous "costume mistress" no contribution is too small. I had a mother who didn't know how to machine sew, but was willing to sew on buttons, which given the colonial costumes involved was a lot of buttons! All offers of help are welcomed  and appreciated. You don't have to have a child involved in the production to help out. Maybe you just like to sew or maybe you are an Austen fan and would love to help recreate her world on stage at FRHS, it doesn't matter what your motive, just please consider helping out. Thanks.

THESPIANS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD CHAIRS AND MORE
For those of you who are familiar with Jane Austin's classic, Pride and Prejudice, you know many of the scenes take place in "sitting rooms", hence the Thespian's need for "seats". Obviously, by the very nature of a play, the furniture will need to be moved around on and off stage at various times during each performance and during some of the rehearsals, therefore the Thespians aren't looking for family heirloom pieces or anything too valuable or fragile. If however, if you have in your basement or attic an odd chair or two, which happen to be old-fashion looking, and you would be willing to temporarily part with them, please contact Mrs. Babal at jbabal@franklinregional.k12.pa.us. In addition to chairs, they are specially in need of a chaise.

Items for sale and fundraisers...
(New or updated items' titles are highlighted in blue)

Editor's note: I will run fundraising announcements in the E-News about once a week. If you are associated with a school related organization and would like to advertise it in the E-News please send me an article to FRHSnews@windstream.net. I have found the simpler the format the better. Often when I copy more complicated items the original formatting (fonts, spacing, colors, etc) doesn't transfer well and I end up having to retype the article. Please be sure to include a contact person and an end date, so I know how long to run the article.
