KEY CLUB CEREAL
AND CEREAL BAR FOOD DRIVE
The Key Club is sponsoring a
cereal drive for the Murrysville Food Pantry. We will be collecting
cereal and cereal bars to pass out at the May Food Bank.
We would like students to bring donations to Mrs. Koury's room(234). She will track which 1st period class they are in. The class donating the most over 25 boxes will win a donuts for a morning of the teacher's choice. Here is where we need your help... This is a very worthwhile cause. Please encourage you child to participate. Donations from teachers will count toward the class total. The food bank clients live right here in the Murrysville/Delmont/Export area. Mrs. Koury works at the Food Bank most months and has seen a lot of former FR students who are now on their own. The Westmoreland food bank supplies the food to this area, but does not provide many products that these people would like to have like cereal, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. That's why you see frequent food drives from various organizations.
The leading first period classes
will be announced on the announcements. The drive started Monday and
will end May 1st.

Editor's note: I will run
fundraising announcements in the E-News about
once a week. If you are associated with a school
related organization and would like to advertise
it in the E-News please send me an article to
FRHSnews@windstream.net.
I have found the simpler the format the better.
Often when I copy more complicated items the
original formatting (fonts, spacing, colors,
etc) doesn't transfer well and I end up having
to retype the article. Please be sure to include
a contact person and an end date, so I know how
long to run the article.
