TENNIS UPDATE
Congratulations to the Panther Tennis
Team for winning another WPIAL AAA Section I team championship. Co captains
Matt Kitson and Kevin Carter led their team to a seventh consecutive
WPIAL section title last week, after defeating second-place rival Penn
Trafford. The Panthers won 11 straight section matches in their
regular season. Added to the success of this
season's match play
includes having the top two singles players, as well as, qualifying two top
doubles teams to the WPIAL tournament. The
Panthers will now enter the WPIAL team playoffs by hosting one of the first
round matches. Everyone is invited
to stop by the tennis courts
tomorrow after 3:00 to cheer on your championship
tennis team. Good luck, Panthers!

CLASS OF 2008
SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS
The Counseling Center is collecting scholarship
information for inclusion in the commencement program. All seniors are
asked to please report all scholarship offers to their counselor, even
the ones they didn't accept. Deadline is May 16th.
CLASS OF 2008 SENIOR
YEARBOOK PICTURES
Viglione Photography is the official Senior
Photographer for the Class of 2009. In order for a senior to have their
senior picture in the yearbook, he or she must be photographed by
Viglione at their studio. Please call Viglione Photography at
724-387-2092 to schedule a photo session. Any student who has been
photographed must make their selection by September 15th for inclusion
in the yearbook.
FYI - More information should be on
its way. In the past it has been sent directly to your home, thus
eliminating the "student delivery problem". Viglione does offer
expanded picture options and packages, but you not under any obligation
to purchase them. You are free to get your senior's picture taken at any
other photographer of your choosing for their "official" senior picture.
(You know the one you give to family and friends, display on the mantel
or office and carry in your wallet.) HOWEVER if your child wants to be
in the yearbook they MUST get their photo taken at Viglione.
