Due to the imperative nature of the following notice please pass the word
along to anyone you know who may be planning on attending this evening's
ceremony. Also please note the tickets ARE NOT required for those wishing to
watch the graduation ceremony broadcasted in the auditorium.
GRADUATION CEREMONY - TONIGHT 6:45PM
Please be aware
that we are planning an outdoor ceremony for this evening.
The weather forecast is
calling for a temperature of 94° with a Real Feel temperature nearing 100°.
Inside the stadium, temperatures are expected to be much warmer.
Due to the heat
warnings issued by the National Weather Service, tonight's ceremony will be
simulcast in the in the Senior High School Auditorium (which is Air
Conditioned) for those family and community members with medical conditions.
For those in attendance
at the stadium, the Panther Football Boosters will be selling bottled water
for $1.00 at the gate.
ATTENTION SENIORS:
Graduating Seniors will
be provided with bottled water at the ceremony this evening, you are asked
not to bring any water or other beverage to the stadium.
Due to the weather
conditions, the "dress code" for the ceremony has changed:
Seniors are permitted to
wear appropriate shorts and footwear. Young men are asked to wear a
collared shirt (such as a Polo shirt). Ties are no longer required.
