FALL PLAY'S OPENING NIGHT THIS THURSDAY
The Thespians have been hard at work preparing for their
first production of the year, Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize for
Drama-winning play "The Skin of Our Teeth." It originally opened on Broadway
in 1942 and was the first stage play to be aired live on television in 1983.
The play, a comedy, is centered on George and Maggie Antrobus
and their two children, Henry and Gladys. The play's action takes place in
a modern setting, but ignores the traditional notion of linear time by
recounting such epochal events as the ice age, the great flood and various
historical military conflicts.
Cast members include: Priya
Iyer, Amanda Holcombe, Mike Hernandez, Brianne Holland, Arthur Siegel, Sean
OBrien, Mark Southlea, Laura Brennan, Aaron Wattenphul, Scott Southlea,
Nikki Popp, Erica Ahlstrom, Jess Jeroski, John Lora, Lizzie Grand, Chelsea
Barnes, Lea Roselli and Danielle Duncan.

Editor's note: I will
run fundraising announcements in the
E-News about once a week. If you are
associated with a school related
organization and would like to advertise it
in the E-News please send me an article to
FRHSnews@windstream.net.
I have found the simpler the format the
better. Often when I copy more
complicated items the original formatting
(fonts, spacing, colors, etc) doesn't
transfer well and I end up having to retype
the article. Please be sure to include a
contact person and an end date, so I know
how long to run the article.
