SPECIAL OLYMPICS BASKETBALL
Day: Wednesday nights (starting this Wednesday, November 7th)
Time: 6-7:30 PM
Where: Community United Methodist Church, Harrison City
Coaches: Nick and Lori Novak and Vince and Pam DeGeorge
Tournament: Will compete in the Special Olympics of Allegheny
County Basketball Tournament in March 2008 (FR is able to participate
because Westmoreland County does not offered basketball events)

YEARBOOK ORDER FORMS HAVE ARRIVED
I received the yearbook order form in the mail on Saturday.
For those who are new to the high school, unlike the lower grades no order
forms or ordering information is sent home with the students, all yearbook
solicitations are sent through the mail. Don't panic if you threw yours
away thinking it was junk mail, they send out multiple reminders and order
forms, but don't wait too long there is an order deadline.

JAZZ BAND AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held this year for
guitar and piano players in the Jazz Band. Any interested student
should stop by the Band Room to pick up the required audition pieces,
which can be found on the table inside the band room doors. The
auditions will take place Tuesday, November 13, in the
Band Room, beginning at 2:45. If you have any questions, please see Mr.
Pollock after school.

FYI - There is a temporary technical problem
with the video link to the News Break show. Hopefully it will be
straightened out shortly. Until then be sure to catch the Panther
News Break on Channel 19 every weekday evening at 5:30 PM.

WINTER SPORTS NOTICE
All athletes
must have the proper physical forms on file with the nurse prior to the
start of the season. The first day of Winter sports will be Monday, Nov.12th.
If you participated in a fall sport, you must complete a green
recertification form. Please see the nurse for the physical forms.
