Note from Darlene… the last issue of FRHS Enews had some formatting issues. Thank you for not sending a multitude of emails about it. I missed a formatting tag and I try to catch and delete them as I “cut and paste” from the various source files. However, I missed a “biggie” that time! Sorry about that.
BBQ Thank you from Lynn Gurrentz Dear Wonderful Volunteers, Thank you all very much for your incredible support. The tables groaned with piles of interesting and inviting salads and desserts. We got donations from so many of our senior parents. We had a few leftovers – but not many! The kids ate and ate and ate! Those of you who came to help, thank you all, you all rolled up your sleeves and got the jobs done – all with a smile and asking what else you could do. Really amazing. The ham was delicious Nadine & thank you for cooking it Georgia! Great idea. Thanks to your generosity I was able to get over $450 in gift cards and prizes (32 of them!). And we are still more than $200 under last year’s budget. Which means there will be more for our senior’s next event. Because of you all we had a successful Senior BBQ. Thank you to you, and thank you for having terrific kids. Lynn Gurrentz lynngurrentz@comcast.net 724 733 4565 PS Did anyone take pictures of the teachers at the grill?

Home Coming Parade Returns – Friday, Oct 24th The tradition of the Homecoming parade returns. This parade consists of cheerleaders, band, color guards, pantherettes, Homecoming court, and the coolest floats we have ever seen. This year we are bringing back this old tradition. Putting a float together gets everyone into the Homecoming spirit by involving everyone because they can put teams together to build a float. This is going to be a lot of work, but I believe that this is the year to bring it back. Start building that float today. Any questions?
